Several years ago, we joined the San Diego Venture Group (SDVG) and were very impressed with the caliber of people there and the impressive businesses being started in San Diego. Recently, we became a sponsor, because we really liked what they are doing. However, this is just one of the groups that does so much to support the San Diego entrepreneurial community. Two other groups, CommNexus and CONNECT, are also trying to help new businesses in San Diego succeed. Plus there are incubators, angel investors, and investment groups.
