While this can be fun for personal gadgets, buying the newest software and devices for our businesses can be expensive and unproductive. Why do you typically want to avoid the latest technology?

1) Benefits do not justify the investment

In many cases, the newest, fastest hardware is considerably more expensive than something slightly slower or smaller. For a business that is buying a large number of computers, it typically makes sense to buy something that is a step down from the fastest hardware.
